在设计扎根山与之前，我们一直在思考；一个城市中心的城市民宿，我们究竟要赋予它怎样的状态？又该如何去实施？

Before we design this project, we have been thinking about what kind of state should we give a city residential in the center of the city? How to implement it?

民宿在山城，这里有关于一座城市的记忆，丰满而又充满活力，但城市的主题太大，这样一个小小的城市民宿，哪里能够全盘托住。经过反复思考，我们把设计核心落在“关于重庆的生活日常”。这里的日常是一种习惯、一种重庆人日复一日的生活状态，特别是在逝去的年月里。我们把对一座城市的记忆都浓缩在了一起，爬坡下坎的回家之路，冷静纯粹的水泥墙面，老房子里父亲亲手搭砌的洗漱台与淋浴间。这些我们每天都会经历和使用的过往，我想在那个计划经济的年月里，我们的记忆近乎相似。因此，“安身之所”的理念孕育而生。

Residence is in the mountain city, here is the memory of a city, full and full of vitality, but the theme of the city is too big, where can such a small city accommodation be held in full. After repeated reflection, we put the design core on "about the daily life of Chongqing". Daily life here is a habit, a daily life of Chongqing people, especially in the past years. We have condensed our memories of a city, the way home from climbing down the hill, the calm and pure cement wall, the washstand and shower room built by my father himself in the old house. These are the past we experience and use every day, and I think in that year of planned economy, our memories were almost the same. Therefore, the concept of "shelter" came into being.

而身处解放碑的酒店，不仅要满足重庆本土消费群体，还要承载外来游客的接待任务，因此，这里不仅要展示关于重庆的点滴；做为酒店，便利、舒适、安心同样重要，所以，设计不能一味的复刻老旧，我们生活在当下，所以一切的处理方式都要是现代的、便捷的、甚至是异常干净的。

And the hotel in Jiefangbei, not only to meet the local consumer groups in Chongqing, but also to carry the reception task of foreign tourists, so here is not only to show the dribs and drabs about Chongqing; as a hotel, convenience, comfort and peace of mind are equally important, so the design can not blindly rejuvenate the old, we live in the present, so all the ways to deal with it must be modern and convenient. Or even unusually clean. 

所以，先进的艺术涂料替代了水泥、设计精美的品牌洁具替代了老旧的龙头、灯光的处理也是尽量的克制。因为设计要表达的，是满足基本需求的同时，如何提升体验的品质。所有的细节，都要与人的使用产生关系。因为我们坚信，与人有关的才是有情感的。所以，我们所要建造的，是让心扎根的地方。

Therefore, advanced art coatings have replaced cement, well-designed brand sanitary ware has replaced the old faucet, and the treatment of lighting is restrained as far as possible. Because the design expresses how to improve the quality of experience while meeting the basic needs. All details have to be related to the use of people. Because we firmly believe that people are emotional. So what we need to build is a place where the heart takes root.
